Antique Apothecary Pharmacy Cork Press Cast Iron Mounted on Wood.
This is such a beautiful item, simple yet functional. Cast iron and wood/oak.
There is a little patina, signs of age, yes, you want that in an antique! We have not cleaned it.
There is a little rust where the black paint is worn – no heavy rust or corrosion. The wood has a little split in one end as can be seen in photo of the bottom of the board.
Board measures approximately 15 in long by 4.5 in wide. Iron press, approximately 11.5 in long.
I think you will like this piece – it is really nice. We will pack it carefully to prevent torqueing etc.
