Beautiful complete West German ounces weight set with chromed weights and grain weights, plus balance beam. Beam is marked West Germany and there is faint blue stamp on the bottom with the same country name. Birch storage box contains 6 chromed solid brass weights and 7 grain weights.
Box measures 6 3/4″ long x 4 1/2″ deep x 1 1/2″ tall. Box is assembled using the 1/4″ thick birch using the barefaced housing joint. Box was refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste wax for a soft luster. Blue felt in the storage compartment. Felt pads protect bottom. Shipping weight approximately 2 pounds.
