Hafler DH-101 PreAmp Works But *READ*
This pre-amp works, but the unit is always ON regardless of the power button position.
This is on consignment from the original purchaser.
The unit does have some scuffs and scrapes and some tape remnant on the sides top and back from several moves over the years, but the face is very nice.
LED lights up.
The unit has been dormant for several years according to the owner, but it sounded ok once I cleaned the terminals. I only tested PHONO. The tone / mono buttons worked as well.
The bass and treble knobs worked. The volume was a little scratchy when moved but it quieted down just fine once let go.
I ran a song from a Boston album through this to an amp on some cheap Aiwa speakers I had and it thumped.
One rubber foot is missing.
This will be shipped carefully with a ‘box in a box’. Personally speaking, I’ll ship this how I’d want to receive it.
