Condition
Caracul wig is in great condition and still factory set.
Sleep eyes…do not work correctly. When handling the doll the left eye likes to recess a little and points to the outside corner of the eye…you have to hold her face down and shake her a little to line the eyes up again. There is also a rattle noise in her head when shaking her…I believe that comes from the eye mechanism and the eyelids hitting the hard plastic.
Her eyes are a little cloudy, no upper eyelashes.
Some paint rubs on face….see close ups of the face.
No breaks on the rubber body, all toes and fingers are accounted for, there is no stickiness to the rubber. The color of the left leg has faded (thigh area)…pictured
She squeaks when you squeeze her tummy.
She is dressed in 3pcs. knitted ensemble which is not original to the doll.
The romper is probably original to the doll…has a tear and some of the lace needs to be reattached.
The flannel sleepbag is probably mommy made.
She has no musty odor. Comes from a collectors designated doll room.
