Vintage GENEVE Delicate Ladies Gold And Diamond Wristwatch!
Wife’s watch.  She purchased it in the early 1980’s.  She has not worn it in a number of years and as we are not getting any younger, she would simply like to find it a new home.  Except for the one missing stone, the watch is undamaged and in near mint condition.
7 1/2″ in length end to end.
41 total diamonds (1 stone missing, see photo 7&8).
14 Karat gold including watchband.
Clasp assembly is solid, no wobble or play.
Battery New, watch keeps perfect time.
Country of origin is not identified either on the face or back of the watch.  Assume it would be Swiss made, but there is no way that I know how to validate that assumption.
I had this watch examined by our local jeweler and he determined that the stones are indeed diamonds and the watchband metal is 14K gold.
The photos aren’t perfect and a few have shadow intrusions, but they should pretty much provide a better explanation of the item than my words so please examine each one carefully, and do not hesitate to ask a general question regarding the item should you have one.  General questions will be answered honestly and as promptly as possible.  Questions of a technical nature may be delayed or unanswerable as we are not jewelers or watchmakers, just regular folks.
